CCDP:
Networking and Security is the flavor of the season. Among the few institutes that offer the related courses ACIT is one the premier institutes. ACIT offers a range of certifications ranging from CCNA, CCDP, CCIE, and CCNA, CCSA, CISCO PIX, CCSE and various other Cisco certifications. It also offers SUN SOLARIS certification to add to the long list of certifications provided. Apart from the certification training, ACIT is also involved in bootcamp training wherein trainers from ACIT will visit the corporate in order to train the staff. The biggest attraction though is the fact that ACIT is now providing its services in Mumbai, India too.

CCDP certification from ACIT:
CCDP or Cisco Certified Designed Professional is a certification that provides for the validation of all the principles of design concepts. Along with this it also promises an advanced knowledge of network designing concepts.

ACIT Highlights of CCDP:
ACIT provides for the study of CCDP study. After completion of the study ACIT also doubles up as an exam centre and you will be able to appear for the CCDP exam. Before appearing for the exam you will also be provided with the facility of appearing for the CCDP test. The entire course of the CCDP includes the building up of internet works, building up of the multilayered switched networking and also includes designing of the network architecture.
If a person wants to obtain a CCDP certification then he must possess CCNA certification. It is the most important criteria for gaining a CCDP certification. Only if the person holds the certification of the CCDP certification will he be able to attend and appear for the CCDP certification examination. At ACIT the examination of the CCDP is divided into 2 different routes or options. One option is to take 2 examinations and the other option is to take 3 examinations. It is an option that the students can exercise.

If the student is opting for Route 1 or option 1 then the course layout is as follows:
642-901 or The Building up of Scalable Cisco Internetworks (BSCI) is of duration of 90 minutes.
642-812 or Building up of Cisco multilayer Switched networks (BCMSN) or has duration of 90 minutes.
642-871 or designing of Cisco Networking service architectures (ARCH) is of the duration of 90 minutes and includes approximately 65 questions.

If the student opts for Route 2 or option 2 then the course layout is as follows:
642-892 or the composed - combined examination of Building up of Scalable Cisco Internetworks (BSCI) and Building up of Cisco multilayer Switched networks (BCMSN) totals to duration of 2 hours.
And the second part is similar to route 1 which is 642-871 or designing of Cisco Networking service architectures (ARCH) is of the duration of 90 minutes and includes approximately 65 questions.

A certified CCDP will be in a position to design and create addressing and routing that is of an advanced level, management of network, data centre and security. He would also be able to determine multilayered architectures or Multicast complex IP and that includes applications/ domain that are wireless and also private networking.

Learning in a class where you actually have access to the tutor, and can ask questions when you find something difficult, was also worth it.
